Come on, Barbie, let's go party.

Yesterday, Warner Bros released the first photo of Ryan Gosling in Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie, and, for reasons that should be obvious due to abs and hair and denim, it immediately took over the internet.

While in the Barbie Cinematic Universe™ Ken is dating Barbie, in real life Ryan Gosling is married to Eva Mendes, who is just as obsessed with this photo as the rest of the internet. She shared it on her Instagram with the caption, “So. F. Funny. So. F. Good. So F excited for you to see this. #Thatsmyken.”

Here's what we know about Barbie thus far: Per Deadline, it stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, and Issa Rae, and will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.

Not much is known about the plot, but apparently the film will feature multiple Barbies and Kens. Simu Liu vaguely opened up about the movie during an interview with GQ that was conducted mid-way through filming, saying it’s “wild,” “incredibly unique," and "I wish I could just show you what we do day to day because it’s crazy.” He also said that he heard about the movie from a junior agent while on a call with his team: “He literally said this verbatim. He was like, ‘If I could stake my career on any one script, it’s the Barbie script. I really think you should do it.’”

Simu also spoke a bit about meeting Greta, saying "Greta was talking about how much she loved watching men dance, because it’s such an expression of artistry you're not used to seeing from typical men." Naturally, he mentioned being in a competitive hip-hop dance team back in the day, and “She audibly guffawed, she giggle-screamed – and then I got the part.”
