Meghan Markle's comfortable-chic Adidas running sneakers are on sale for Prime Day, Amazon's two-day shopping holiday, this year.
Markle wore the Adidas Ultraboost 19 sneakers to her son Archie's baby shower at The Mark Hotel in New York City in February 2019. While the 2019 edition of Ultraboosts are no longer sold, the Ultraboosts 22 are the cushiest version of the cult-loved shoe to date. The Adidas Ultraboost 22 normally retails for $190, but today, they're only $129.95 on Amazon, their best price yet according to price tracking site CamelCamelCamel.
While Markle opted for the black version of the shoes, you can buy them in 27 different color and design combinations.
Other celebs are huge fans of the shoes, too. Hayley Bieber and Harry Styles have also been seen wearing Adidas Ultraboost sneakers. In fact, when Adidas released the running shoe to the public, they dubbed it the "Greatest running shoe ever." With a "narrow heel fit, a lower instep curve and a snug feel" the Ultraboost sneaker "provides spring in every step," Adidas claims. People who bought the shoes agree. The sneakers boast a four-and-a-half star average rating on Amazon, and one customer said the shoes are "great quality" and "definitely worth the money."
Not only are the sneakers comfortable, but they're also sleek and versatile, making them easy to pair with athleisure for exercise or running errands. They're good for the planet, too. The upper part of the Adidas Ultraboost 22 is made with yarn that contains at least 50 percent of Parley Ocean Plastic—a reimagined plastic waste that is intercepted on remote islands, beaches coastal communities and shorelines, preventing plastics from polluting the ocean.
