The Royal Ascot is all about over-the-top dressing, and Princess Beatrice clearly understood the assignment.

The royals are back to the races! While Queen Elizabeth wasn't able to attend Day 1 of the Royal Ascot, that didn't deter many members of the family from going to England's most beloved horse racing event. There to represent Her Majesty were Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who were among the first royals to arrive at the Ascot track.

For Tuesday's glam occasion, the stylish royal looked stunning in a white and pink floral dress by Zimmermann teamed with a straw belt. She paired her summery ensemble with pink pumps and a straw clutch featuring her initials "BY" for Beatrice of York. In true Royal Ascot fashion, the Beatrice topped off her hair with an over-the-top shimmery headband featuring a pink bow and all-over flowers by Juliette Botterill Millinery. Her husband, for his part, looked dapper in a three-piece suit and black top hat.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall were also there on opening day, where they led the royal processional around the track with Charles's nephew, Peter Phillips. His mother Princess Anne rode in another carriage. Among the other royals who attended included Zara Tindall and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who both dressed to impress as well. Additionally, Kate Middleton's parents Carole and Michael were spotted at the annual equestrian event.

Though the Queen wasn't present on Tuesday, she put out a statement about how "delighted" she was to welcome crowds to the first Royal Ascot with a full attendance since 2019. "I have been most grateful for the continued kindness shown to me by the racing community," she continued, before adding: "I hope you all have an enjoyable and memorable time, and I wish connections of the horses running this week the very best of luck."
